Executive Officers

Charles P. Bell, Jr. Chief Executive Officer and President - Mr. Bell has been CEO of ABL since the inception of the company. He was previously President and COO of AMRESCO Independence Funding for over 20 years. During his tenure AMRESCO consistently ranked among the top 10 producers of SBA 7(a) loans in the country, often ranking in the top 5. He has over 40 years of SBA lending and banking experience, and he was awarded the SBA Financial Services Advocate of the Year for Dallas in 1986 and 1989.

Kathy S. McNair Senior Vice President of Credit Administration joined FirstCity in 1993. Ms. McNair has over 25 years of commercial banking, loan administration and servicing experience. From 1990 to 1992, she was Vice President of Credit Administration for Investors Savings Bank in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to that she was with Old Kent Bank where she held numerous positions including credit department manager, commercial loan officer and director of retail branch administration. Ms. McNair holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Mundelein College (Loyola University, Chicago).
